Before we move on to publishing for print, there’s one very important piece to our stories that we need to address.

The Cover.

For a long time, this was the step I feared the most. We’re told to never judge a book by its cover but, statistically, it’s just not avoidable. In the current market, the cover is our very first contact with our readers–the first time we can really present our work.

And we need it to grab their attention and not let go.

Self-Publishing a Book: Part Three

Now that we’ve reviewed the writing processĀ and editing our manuscripts, we need to prepare our manuscripts for publishing.

So, today’s topic is Cat’s guide to formatting for eBooks!

Before we start, grab a drink, a snack, and tell a loved one if they hear cries of anguish to bring you more of your drink of choice. This process takes a few hours and a lot of patience.

Figure Review: Phat! Company’s 1/7 Jibril from No Game No Life

I’ve made mention of it before, but I adore Japanese culture. From anime and video games, to figures and garage kits, I collect them all. In fact, if you have a My Figure Collection account, you should friend me here!

For the first of (hopefully) many figure reviews, we’ll be starting with one of my favorite anime characters of all time: Jibril. I’ve been waiting for this figure for over a year and I’m head-over-heels happy with her. Let’s begin!
